Associate Consultant - Hybrid Position

We are seeking an Associate Consultant with experience in coding, compliance and regulatory audits. As a full-time benefited employee, you will be working closely with physicians, Compliance Officers and healthcare attorneys to gain an understanding of their organization’s compliance needs based on their individual circumstances and risk areas.

As an Associate Consultant, you will conduct proactive compliance & coding audits on professional services and assist clients and their legal counsel in responding to Medicare and other third-party payer audits and analyze data pertaining to Medicare Risk Adjustment (MRA) ICD-10-CM codes and Hierarchical Condition Categories (HCCs). You will also coordinate and communicate the results of consulting and internal audit projects as well as provide education to ACI’s clients while working with a Senior Consultant or Principal. Building relationships during the life of the project and proactively and routinely reaching out to the client after the completion of the current project, is the core of ACI’s strength in the industry.

EXPERIENCE and CERTIFICATIONS

 

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or equivalent work experience

• 3 years in coding, compliance, consulting and managing people

• CPC or CCS-P required. CPMA, CHC or CRC desired

• Able to formulate compliance work plans

• Excellent customer service skills

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
